MANOLIS MARIDAKIS

Born in 1946 in the village Agii Deka (Creta), lives and works in Paris

Form bears witness to process of its creation.

My work consists of the invocation of natural phenomena (in essence or beauty).

Gravity (the reference element) with magnetism, the propulsion of water or air, will be associated in a search for the ideal shape, so the idea can materialize in a dialogue equilibrium/levitation, and the resultant “aesthetics” is found in the indeterminate nature of beauty. Inherent physico/mathematical principles will appear.
